We are currently working on a 2 minute piece to perform in front of the judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan at The Manchester Opera House on Saturday 23rd January 2010.

The members are very excited about performing and watch this space for more news.

The members and supporters had an enjoyable day, early moring rehearsal at Victoria Baths, a long chill at the Radisson Hotel before the 4 o'clock performance.

Unfortunately the judges eye level was with the corps feet! Not the best way to look at a mini drum corps performance. they started off and very quickly Simon buzzed them followed by Amanda. They didn't understand the performance the quote 'For those who understand no explanation is needed, for those who don't no explanation is possible!' came to mind! The corps quickly recovered and we had a lot of fun afterwards before returning to business as normal the next day.

On reflection there are things we would have done differently but I don't know many 12 year olds who have stood on the stage at the Opera house and performed for the TV!
