The music of Barry Manilow In 1996 the music was that of Barry Manilow and the show was titled: 'The Beats, The Ballads'. The 1996 repertoire was: Could it be Magic, Can't Smile Without You, One Voice, Bermuda Triangle and OneTriCopa(Drum Solo) and Copacabana Medley and I Write the Songs. Commodores finished in tenth place in 'A' Class but the experience needed in competition has helped the Commodores achieve what they have so far, a large Corps and support, to project them into a future, as a very strong competitive organisation.
