The start of 1993 saw the Corps embark on a mass recruitment campaign as well as holding an open day which together resulted in couple of months with a Corps of around fifty brand new, younger members, being established. During the year, after a great deal of hard work, the Corps made a few public appearances at local schools as well as appearing in carnivals an Hazel Grove and Stockport. Despite the immaturity and inexperience of the new members, the Corps was rewarded at the end of the year with a prestigious appearance at Manchester City Football Club where the members performed in front of over 20,000 people as well as a vast audience watching the game live on SKY Television.
